How We Work
Our Tested Process
Every client and every trip is unique. We utilize Brownell’s collaborative DISCOVER MORE™ process to get to know our clients, learn their travel personalities and preferences, their purpose for each trip and how to make their trips truly extraordinary. This proven process minimizes our clients’ time commitment, letting us do the heavy lifting. We provide clear direction on what is required of our clients and when they need to engage in the process to ensure a seamless planning of their next adventure.
Discover
We start the trip design process with a complimentary Discover session to understand our clients’ traveler personalities and their vision for their trip. During the Discover session, we will ask questions and listen carefully to learn about past travel experiences, likes, dislikes, hobbies, passions, what motivates our clients to travel and what specifically sparked the desire to plan a new trip. We will gather any specific ideas our clients may have around the where’s and what’s for the trip, but completely expect our clients will look to us to help them determine many facets of their adventure. Together we craft a wholistic vision for the perfect trip and outline budgets, must have priorities, and wish list items.
We will also review our design fees, explain our design process in detail, outline how we will work together moving forward, and define next steps.
The Discover session typically occurs 2-7 days after completing our Trip Inquiry Form.
Design
This is where things start to come together. During this phase, we use our travel expertise and connections to design an exceptional travel experience based on our Discover session and our clients’ unique vision for their trip. We will create an initial proposal outlining travel options that we think are right for our clients and work hand-in-hand to hone and revise an itinerary that’s perfectly tailored for them. Clients can be as involved or as hands off as they like in this phase.
Once the itinerary is finalized and approved we will book all of the trip components and finalize all of the details!
Initial travel proposals are typically delivered 1-2 weeks after the Discover session. Finalized itinerary delivery depends on our clients’ level of involvement and number of itinerary revisions but will typically be ready for approval 2-3 weeks after the initial travel proposal.
Connect
Once a trip is booked, we send confirmations of all travel details, future payment dates, and any outstanding items. We also work behind the scenes to secure special requests, upgrades, perks, and fun surprises. In the leadup to our clients’ departure, we check and recheck every detail, so they don’t have to. Once all is set, we send the finalized travel documents. We also remain in contact with our clients to make sure they are ready to travel, have the latest information about their destinations, and answer any last-minute questions. All our clients need to do is get ready to enjoy their upcoming trip!
Experience
The trip is finally here! Time to enjoy a relaxing escape from daily life or an adventurous getaway. In the few days leading up to our clients’ departure, we check in with our partners on the ground to prepare for our clients’ arrival and to ensure a seamless travel experience. Our clients can rest assured that our team and our local partners will be available to ensure everything goes smoothly while traveling.

We love hearing about our clients’ trips! Highlights and feedback help us learn more about each of our clients’ travel preferences and expands our travel knowledgebase to benefit all of our clients. Whether its simply filling out our post trip questionnaire, or scheduling a follow-up call to discuss the trip, our clients can be as involved in the sharing process as they want to be.
We also love to hear if the trip sparked any future travel ideas or if our clients already have their next trip in mind. We always like to start the planning process early to ensure the best availability of accommodations and activities.
We typically follow-up with our clients a few days after they return from their trips and schedule any follow-up calls within a week while memories are fresh!
