Allows U.S. citizens and nationals traveling abroad to register their trips with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate. This is a free service for all U.S. citizens that allows them to receive important information from the local Embassy about safety conditions in destination country in real-time and alerts the local Embassy that U.S. citizens are on the ground in case an emergency occurs.
